In a drought, one waits, hopes, and prays for rain. We are sometimes blessed with a sprinkle or short rain that gives us hope and a reminder that we aren't forgotten.
In life, we can experience a drought. Whether it is being lonely, jobless, silence from God, we hope to remember that a sprinkle of refreshment can come to us in the form of friends praying for us and holding us up, continued quiet time with our Maker, a walk in the cool breeze. A time to notice the real blessings in our lives and to find our joy in Him.
This morning as the first crack of dawn evolved into lighted morning, the atmosphere was cast orange. It was a sign that the sun was coming up, and the fore- casted rain was approaching. The cloud covering reflecting the sun gave me hope for the new day. The orange reminded me how great our Universe is. Each morning has it's own design, a new creation, a new hope, that the parched land is receiving some relief.
We too receive relief. Look up, remember that God is bigger than any negative feeling or situation. We can turn our day over to Him and wait expectantly for the showers of healing.
